So a few months back I had the opportunity to shoot this great dinner. It was put on by the Gaining Ground Sustainability Institute of Mississippi and the food was done by Ty Thames. It was a great time and I’m so glad I was able to be part of it.
I like to take pictures. I document my life and the lives of others around me.

So a few months back I had the opportunity to shoot this great dinner. It was put on by the Gaining Ground Sustainability Institute of Mississippi and the food was done by Ty Thames. It was a great time and I’m so glad I was able to be part of it.
So this is just one image from a quick session I did with the artist Catherine Ann Herrington. She does some awesome work from painting to pillows. You can check out more of her work as well as more images from our session on her blog!

More personal work on the blog for now but in the coming weeks there will be a few weddings, engagements, a bridal session, and some portrait work. Aside from the newest addition to our family things have been busy, which is good.
It just got real cute around here.

I had a great time shooting Avery & Luke around the Mississippi State baseball field in Starkville then out at the wedding venue they’ve got. All I’ve got to say is the engagement session was awesome and the wedding is going to be a blast!
I’m looking for a dedicated, hard working person, to stand around and keep me company during shoots. My current assistant has been on maternity leave for over a year now and has gotten pregnant again (oops, my bad) so I’m looking for another assistant. It will be impossible to fill her shoes, but alas we must move on.
While photographic experience is a plus, particularly in film, it is not a shooting job so it isn’t a deal breaker. I would prefer you be in Starkville, however this is also not set in stone. You will be paid a day rate.
